In order to adapt to current European Union and Spanish regulations, as well as to improve the functioning of this public corporation, the COAPI’s General Meeting agreed on a new draft of its Bylaws, which were approved by Royal Decree 136/2001, of March 2, 2001.
As stated in the explanatory memorandum of said regulation, these new Bylaws reinforce the guarantees for members and consumers, and are governed by the principles of necessity, effectiveness, proportionality, legal certainty, transparency and efficiency, as set forth in Law 39/2015, of October 1, of the Common Administrative Procedure of Public Administrations.
